Pumpkin Seed & Apple Wheaten

A recipe with using the award winning Mourne and Bread Wheaten Bread mix and the flavours of Autumn, pumpkin seeds and apple.

 500 g Famous Wheaten Bread Mix
 400 ml Water
 2 tbsp Oil
 23 tbsp Pumpkin Seeds
 1 stewed apple (with sugar to your taste)
 1 tbsp Treacle

Preheat your oven to 200C.

Place wheaten mix and pumpkin seeds in a bowl, remembering to remove the small topping bag.

Add the water, oil, stewed apples and treacle. Mix until you get a uniform mixture, don't panic if you think it is a bit wet, that is normal and the same as they way we make in the bakery.

Pour equal amounts into 2 greased 2lb loaf tins, approx 500g in each.

Sprinkle on the topping mix and some extra pumpkin seeds if you have them.

Pop in the middle of the heated oven and bake for about 40 minutes, until golden brown and a skewer comes out clean.
